MEETING: August 9, 2008, 11 TO 3 The meeting will be at Beach Cities Health District. For directions see below. There will be a "grab bag" drawing of basketry related items. If you have something to donate please bring it to the meeting. The mini-workshop by Betz Salmont.
Lunch is to be potluck, so please bring a salad, entreee or dessert for six.Be sure to bring the appropriate serving utensils, labeled with your name.

Directions to the Natural History Museum: (fall meeting) The Natural History Museum is located at 900 Exposition Blvd. in Exposition Park. Directions:To reach it, take the Harbor (110) Freeway, exit at Exposition Blvd., drive west on Exposition. The museum will be on your left. Make a left turn at Menlo Avenue, just past the museum, but before Vermont Blvd. There is some free parking in the West/Staff lot, first come, first served. If it is filled, park in the Five Star lot across the street, which costs $5.00. The parking gate only accepts $1 and $5 or quarters, so bring correct change. The museum is closed when our meeting begins, so please use the north entrace just off the West/Staff parking lot. *Note: if you will be taking the carpool lane north on the 110, take the 32ndst./Coliseum exit. Drive west on Martin Luther King Blvd. to Menlo Avenue. Turn right on Menlo.
